How is curriculum organized?
Curriculum is divided in to four age groups.
– Age 6 to 8 (Level 1 to Level 3)
– Age 9 to 11 (Level 4 to Level 6)
– Age 12 to 14 (Level 7 to Level 9)
– Age 15 and over (Level 10 to Level 12)
Curriculum for each group will have content for three years.
Three bridge programs.
– Bridge Level 4
– Bridge Level 7
– Bridge Level 10

Total 15 classes.
Course organization:
Class for each age group will be for one hour and 15 minutes.
– Prayer – 10 minutes
– Recap from last week and plan for the day – 5 minutes
– Topics for the day ~ 30 minutes
– Activity time ~ 3o minutes
– Chanting, reciting and ‘Ashray nu pad’
Class will be held once a week
Curriculum – Age 6 to 8:
Introduction to Religion.
– Introduce different Hindu Gods, Goddess and Hindu symbols
– Stories from Ramayana, Mahabharata, Krishna Lila, Shiv puran and other Hindu scriptures
– Introduction to Shriji bawa, Shri Yamunaji and Shri Vallabh
Develop cultural awareness.
– Introduction to Hindu calendar
– Introductions to Hindu festivals
Life and religion.
– Panchatantra, Hitopdesha and other moral stories to teach kids about Truth, trust, friendships, faith, unity etc
– Importance of these values in life and how they can apply
– Easy stories from 84-252 varta’s like Pare, chakada etc.
Curriculum – Age 9 to 11:
Introduction to Hindu Scriptures.
– Ramayan
– Mahabharat and Gita
– Bhagwatam
– Shrinath Charitrakatha
Develop cultural awareness.
– Colors used in Hindu culture, why are these colors?
– Linkage of Hindu festivals to western world e.g. Kite flying with new year, Vasant Panchami with Valentine’s day
Life and religion.
– Panchatantra, Hitopdesha and other moral stories to teach kids about Truth, trust, friendships, faith, unity etc
– Importance of these values in life and how they can apply
– Easy stories from 84-252 varta’s like Pare, chakada etc.
Curriculum – Age 12 to 14:
Science and Religion.
– Science and vedic knowledge (Sanatan dharma)
– Cosmos and Hindu scriptures
– Physics, meta physics linkages to Atma and paramatma
– Shri Yamunaji – Shri Yamunastakam
Develop cultural awareness.
– Hindu Rishis and their inventions (concept of zero, first surgery etc.)
– Hindu heritage and linkages with western world (pushpak viman to airplane, concept of television used in mahabharat)
