Vizag Sri Kanaka Mahalakshmi Temple is a famous Maha Lakshmi temple located in Burujupeta, Chengal Rao Peta, Port Area, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh State. The presiding idol, who is an incarnation of Shri Lakshmi, is considered the familiar deity of the rulers of this region at that time and they admired him as Ammavari.
On Thursdays, the temple is crowded, as it is considered an auspicious day of the Sri Mahalakshmi.
Every year Margasira Masa Mahotsavam festival is celebrated in a grand manner. During this time, thousands of devotees flock to this temple to catch a glimpse of the Goddess and offer their prayers to her.
