Sri Venkateswara Temple 2021 Purushaivari Thota Ustavam:
TTD is Conducting the Purusaivari Tota Utsavam on Thirumala hills Festival as part of the Sri Andal Ammavari Thiruvadipuram Sattumora Festival on August 3rd.
According to Puranic legends, the appearance of Sri Andal Goda Devi, who is said to be an incarnation of Bhudevi, occurred in the Tulasi Gardens at Purva Phalguni Nakshatram in the month of Ashada on the day of Shukla Chaturthi.
On the holy occasion, Sri Malayappa Swamy utsava murtis with his two wives Sridevi and Sri Bhudevi arrive at Purusaivari Tota at night in a procession. Here, special Harati, garlands and Shatari will be offered at the sacred Pogada tree followed by Abhishekam.
Subsequently, the Utsava idols of Swamy and his wives will return to the Srivari temple.
