Sankatahara Chaturthi is celebrated on the fourth day of Krishna Paksha every month. If it falls on a Tuesday, it is called Angarika Chaturthi and is considered auspicious. Mainly celebrated in southern India, especially Tamilnadu. Devotees observe fast on these days. After having moon darshan at night, they offer prayer to Lord Ganesh. Devotees Wake up early and have a bath and offer prayer to Lord Ganesh. In the evening after the puja is performed have the darshan of the moon. After the pooja Prasadam is distributed.
