How to Reach Kumbh Mela 2025:
During the Kumbh Mela, temporary railway stations are created around the fairgrounds to facilitate the entry of the massive number of pilgrims that come to Allahabad for this holy event, with Prayag Ghat station being within walking distance of the holy Sangam. The Allahabad Airport, which only facilitates one flight a day from Delhi during the rest of the year, sees many airline services like Spice Jet and Jet Airways operating multiple flights for the mela. Temporary roads are created within the grounds for ease of travel.
On a regular basis, Allahabad airport receives one flight from Delhi every day. However, during the Kumbh Mela, there are temporary flight services from major Indian cities to this airport.
