Beeramguda Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple Timings, History

Sri Mallikarjuana Swamy also known as Second Srisailam is located in Raghavendra Colony, Beeramguda Village, Patancheru Mandal, Sangareddy District, Telangana State. The main deity is Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy (Lord Shiva) and his consort is Sri Bhadramba Ammavaru (Parvathi Devi). Bhramarambhika Mallikharjuna Swamy Temple is located on a small hill nearby called Beeramguda Gutta.

This Sri Bhadramba Sametha Mallikarjuna Swamy is believed to be constructed in the 13th century. Devotees believed that the inner route of the temple leads to Srisailam Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple. Mahashivaratri is celebrated for 5 days, Toli Ekadasi and Karthika Masam are also celebrated in a grand way

Sri Ganapathi, Valli Devasena Sametha Subramanya and Anjaneya Swamy ate the deities in the temple.
Regular Archana’s, Abhishekam, Astottaram, Panchamruthabhishekam and Rudrabhishekam are performed in this Shiva temple.

Beeramguda Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple

Dovetees believed that the temple was established due to the efforts of two sages named Bhoga Maharshi and Brighu Maharshi. Devotees found a Shiva Linga when they travel through an inner route of the temple.  There were four feet statues of Lord Veera Bhadra earlier as a result of which the temple was called Veerappa or Beerappa. Nowadays, the place came to be known as Beeramguda. The temple attained great significance during the reign of Kakatiyas and developed much in 1980s.
