What is Gandmool:
Gandamool is the group of nakshatras. There are many misconceptions about the Handamool effects. People are afraid of those children who are born in these nakshatras or Gandamool. The nakshatras are ruled by Mercury and Ketu called Ganda Mool. These nakshatras are Ashwini, Magha, Revati, Jyestha, Ashlesha and Mool. The group of these 6 nakshatras makes Gand Mool. This nakshatra works according to Muhart. If someone wants to know that he was born in Gand Mool nakshatra or wasn’t, he must see the
Panchang and Muhart for it. If the natal Moon in the horoscope of the child is in one of the groups of Gand Mool nakshatras, the child is predicted to be born in Gand Mool nakshatras. Traditionally people say that children who are born in Gand Mool nakshatras face difficulties and obstacles their whole life. Even people said that they were inauspicious for everyone including mother and father. Therefore many astrologers suggest pooja 27 days after the birth of that kind of child. Pooja makes these nakshatras peaceful in the horoscope of the child.
Many astrologers say that Jyestha, Mool and Ashlesha are more inauspicious. The surprising thing about this Gand Mool is that there is no static story or even myth in our Vedas and Puranas about it. Many people say that 5 hours after the birth of this kind of child is inauspicious for the mother, father and maternal uncle.
Some have the views that a child who has taken birth in these nakshatras is the sign of the death of cattle, death of spouse and death of parents. People think that infants never get success in its life.
But the truth is that Gand Mool nakshatras are not supreme. If he/she has a good horoscope and good Dasha, he may be a successful person, more than those who weren’t born in Gand Mool. Many more nakshatras are there in horoscopes that decide the future and fortune of the child. He/She must not be worried about success because Ketu and mercury do not decide the whole life of a child. If he/she has other planets strong in its horoscope and Dasha is also good. Therefore the child is not inauspicious for anyone.
Every Gand Mool Nakshatra has its own effect. There are four stages of every nakshatra. Every stage affects in different ways the life of a child.
First, we start with Ashwini Nakshatra. this nakshatra lives in Aries from 0 degrees to 13 degrees and 20 minutes. If the moon is situated in Aries between these degrees and a child born in this time, it is said that it is born in Gand Mool Nakshatra. If the child is born in the first stage of Ashwini nakshatra may face many problems in life and his parents too. The second stage and third stage give a happy and prosperous life. If a child is born in the fourth stage, it causes no bad effects but the child may get suffer from health problems.
Gand Mool Nakshatra Magha stays in the Leo sign from 0 degrees to 13 degrees and 20 minutes. If the moon is situated in Leo sign between this degree at the time of birth of a child, he would get affected by Gandmool Nakshatra. The first stage and second of Magha give problems to the child’s mother and father respectively. Children who are born in the third stage, get become so talented. The fourth stage helps the child to get higher education.
Gand Mool Nakshatra Moola is most inauspicious. Moola Nakshatra lies in the Sagittarius sign from 0 degrees to 13 degrees and 20 minutes. If the moon is placed in Sagittarius sign between these degrees at the birth of a child, he may get affected by Gandmool Nakshatra Moola. The first and second stage is most inauspicious for child’s father and mother respectively. Children who are born in the third stage have to face the loss of wealth and property. The fourth stage has fewer effects. But Shanti pooja should be done if the child is born in Moola Nakshatra.
Gand Mool Nakshatra Revati gives auspicious effects to the child. If the moon is placed in pieces between 16 degrees and 40 minutes to 30 degrees at the time of the child’s birth, it is said that he is born in Revati Gandmool Nakshatra. The first stage gives a prosperous life whereas the second stage is not so inauspicious too. The third stage is best for education if the child does hard work. But the fourth stage adds obstacles in the life of natives.
Gandamool Nakshatras Jyeshta lies in the Scorpio sign from 16 degrees and 40 minutes to 30 degrees. If the moon is placed in the Scorpio sign between these degrees at the birth time of the child, so it is said that child is taken birth in Gandmool Nakshatra. Jyeshtha Nakshatra affects very badly to the native’s life. The first and Second stage adds obstacles in the life of the child’s elder brother or sister and younger brother or sister respectively. Native who takes birth in the third stage may become the reason for mother’s bad health and the fourth stage is inauspicious too. So Jyeshtha Nakshatra is most inauspicious among six nakshatras.
Ashlesha lies in the Cancer sign from 16 degrees and 40 minutes to 30 degrees. If the moon is situated in the Cancer sign between this degree at the of birth, it is said to be that child has taken birth in Gandmool Nakshatra Ashlesha. The first stage is not so inauspicious if the Shanti pooja will be done. The second stage causes problems to the native’s brother and sister. The third stage affects the relationship of the native’s parents. The fourth stage affects the native’s wealth in a negative way or the father of the child may get lost in wealth.
Jawaharlal Nehru, Mahatma Gandhi and many successful men and women had taken birth in Gand Mool. They show that these Nakshatras are not supreme other planets also work and provide us a better life. Shanti puja really decreases the effects of these nakshatras and natives may lead a successful and prosperous life.
