About Hare Krishna in Amsterdam:
Hare Krishna is part of Amsterdam since 1970. The first temple is in the Bijlmer and later the middle of the red zone. From this location, we have evolved to a larger place in Herengracht, Keizersgracht and then even Hobbemakade later. Then we had a place in Van Hilligaertstraat 17. Since 2015, we are now in Lizzy Ansinghstr. 80-1. It was a story and the Hare Krishna people is a well-known phenomenon. Our annual festival as Ratha Yatra, our appearance on our most singing and dancing Kingsday weekly (Harinam) helped that.
Visiting Us:
We invite you to visit our Sunday celebration (see below). During the week, you can join us on Wednesday and Friday for the club dinner (vegetarian food), Bhagavad Gita bhajans night class. Contact us for confirmation of any program.
Famous Sunday Feast:
Sundays from 3 to 20 hours, the famous “Fiesta Domingo” is celebrated. This is an ideal way to get to know each other and reach a refreshing spiritual shower. Bring an open mind, flexible legs and an empty stomach, because our philosophical class will fill your mind, our dance will flex your muscles and will be remembered delicious vegetarian food. Come and bring your friends. No need to book, just arrived.
