Sri Ramaswami temple is an ancient temple Sri Rama Temple located in Kumbakonam, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu. The Primary deitys are Sri Ramaswamy and Seetha Devi and the temple architecture is in Dravidian style. The Specialty of the temple is Sri Rama Swamy blesses all the devotees with all his brothers and companion Goddess Sita Devi. Sri Hanuman appears with his club in all temples but he is holding a Veena in this temple. Sri Rama and Sita Devi both are in the sitting position and his brothers Lakshmana, Bharata, and Shatrughna are in standing position.
Sri Rama Navami is celebrated in a grand manner with special pujas in Panguni Tamil month (March-April). Govinda Dikshitar, the prime minister of the Nayaks, constructed the temple.
