About the Temple:

1984 was the year when this temple began as a small and humble place where a few people visited to take Sri Sri Radha Raman’s darshan Ji Rahika Baladeva Subhadra and Jagannath Maharani ji. Finally, the wings of this small separate temple under the guidance of HH Gopal Krishna Goswami Maharaj, a disciple of Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada and July 15, 2005, emerged a bigger place for the number of followers and activities of ISKCON Punjabi Bagh had grown.

Founder of ISKCON Acharya His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada has always wanted to establish the deities of Sri Sri Krishna Balaram in Delhi. Responding to the wishes of Srila Prabhupada, under the direction of HH Gopal Krishna Goswami Maharaj, the deities of Sri Krishna Balaram were installed on the auspicious occasion of Radhastami in September 2007. This feat gave the temple the special status of being the only Krishna Balaram. temple in Delhi. From now on, the temple has become one of the most popular temples in West Delhi! Because? Well, the exquisite beauty of the ISKCON Punjabi Bagh deities is such that it attracts people from all over the world.
