Shri Devi Mandir, a Hindu temple located in Fairfield, IA, a small rural community in southeastern Iowa. The temple was inaugurated on October 7, 2002 during Navaratri the Nine Nights of the Divine Mother. Sri Devi Mandir is an independent spiritual organization, not affiliated with any teacher or spiritual group.
Shri Devi Mandir Daily Pujas:
The most powerful when done on the day of the full moon. It is carried out to guarantee abundance in life for the fulfillment of spiritual and material desires, to preserve and improve family harmony and to bring success and enjoyment to all. In this age of Kali Yuga, “whoever makes this offer on the day of the full moon will be blessed by Lord Vishnu (Satyanarayana) with everything in his life,” as stated in the Purana Skanda.
Rudra Abhishek: It is done with the intention of creating peace, prosperity, good health and progress in the profession. It is also for the fulfillment of all desires, the elimination of negativity, the neutralization of negative karma and happiness in life.
Navagraha 9-Planet Homa: It has the power to counter the faults of the horoscope and to allow a person to prosper in life when astrological defects are the main obstacles to his well-being. The homa is performed to appease the nine planets, that is, the Sun, the Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu, and Ketu. This homa is played on Saturday morning after Rudra Abhishek.
