The temple was built taking into account the dimensions of energy. For example, the physical dimensions of the Golden Temple are made in such a way that they accumulate great energy by absorbing it from nature itself. The path to the temple was created in the form of a star, which denotes the divine Sri Chakra, which is supposed to generate a flow of energy including 12 positive verticals. It symbolizes the path of purity and spirituality.
The temple of Lakshmi Devi is adorned with various statues that have been designed by special gold decorators. The exterior of the temple was also covered with pure gold leaf. It is also said that these layers of gold were prepared manually; while the temple is covered with about nine to almost twelve layers of gold. It is said that the general construction of this great temple is more than 300 million rupees. Its sculptures, richly decorated pillars and refined ceilings add to his overall grandeur.
