2021 Guru Purnima in Shirdi Baba Temple Dates:
Guru Pournima / Pournima means a full moon is a time when disciples and devotees honour and praise their guru and seek his special blessing. Although it is of great importance in Shirdi temple, perhaps because it is the only festival Baba has asked us to celebrate.
Hindu Puranas say that the program of respecting or worshiping the “Guru” on this day began in the time of the writer “Vyas” of the Mahabharat, Baba indirectly affirmed the meaning of this day.
Various religious activities are arranged. A great number of people flock to Shirdi during this Festival.
Guru Purnima celebrations will start in on 22 July 2021 and end on 24 July 2021 in Shirdi Shri Saibaba Temple.
