The annual Tulasi Mahatya Utsavam will be observed on 21 July 2021 in Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple in Tirupati.
On the occasion of the advent of the divine Tulasi on the auspicious day of Sravana Suddha Dwadasi, Sri Tulasi Mahatyam will be observed on that day.
Due to Covid restrictions, Tulasi Mahatya Ustavam will take place within the temple premises in Ekantam.
The Archakas will recite Tulasi Mahatyam and Asthanam will be performed. The Garuda Seva which is usually performed on the occasion also remains canceled due to pandemics.
