6-04-2016, Tirupati: On the 3rd day evening of Yearly Brahmotsavams PADALU, MOUNJI and silver plate were taken for a shobha yatra from Alipiri to Sri Kodandaramaswami Temple in Tirupati.
A particular puja was carried out to the jewels, which was introduced from the treasury of the Lord Venkateswara, and it was taken out in a procession from Tirumala.
These jewels shall be adorned to the mula murthies after performing special Pujas in Sri Kodanda Ramaswamy temple on Wednesday night. In the meantime the Bangaru PADALU (golden toes protecting) will likely be adorned to Goddess Sita Devi whereas the golden Mounji (sacred thread like waist decoration) to Lord Sri Rama and the silver plate might be used for performing pujavidhi contained in the sanctum.
Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, Dyeo Smt Munilakshmi, Superintendent Sri Uma Maheshwar Reddy Temple Inspector Sri Sesha Reddy, Temple Archaka Sri Nandu Swamy, Archakas Sri Kiran Swamy, Tarun Swamy and enormous variety of devotees took half.
