Madurai Meenakshi Temple Worship Process:
Worshiping Arulmighu Meenakshi Amman had initially been the traditional form of prayer.

North of the main entrance is the Arulmighu Palani Andavar Shrine. After worshiping the deities including Sadayappa among the Nandhi Mandapam and encircling the Hall of One Hundred Pillars, Agni Veeraputhirar, Now Veerapathirar, Ooothuva Thandava Moorthy and Badrakali, the devotees must go to Thirugnanasambandar and offer worship to the four deities Mangakaredasiyaryayanary, and after paying homage to the flag pole, they must sit down for a while. Later, the idols of Hanuman, Krishna and other deities on the pillars at the back then enter the middle road and exit through Amman Sannidhi.
Devotees who come to the temple are to bathe and wear Saiva symbols such as sacred ash, Uthiraksham, and take coconut, fruit, incense, and other offering items as required. possible. It is a practice to meditate on the Holy Scriptures and to recite the holy names of deities while they are in holy places.
On the first day of each Tamil month, special prayers with abhisheka are offered at the Sangam Poets Shrine in Swami Sannidhi’s Second Hall. Special prayers are also held on the birthdays of the star of the Adiyars temple and the 63 saints.
