About Maine Hindu Temple:
Mission Statement: Members of the Hindu Temple of Maine (MHT) sincerely believe in the teachings of Hindu philosophy based on the ‘Sanathana Dharma’ (Eternal Wisdom) of the Hindu religion whose principles are Truth, Love, Peace, Righteous Conduct and Nonviolence. The mission of MHT is to preserve and promote the Hindu religion, culture and philosophy.
Objectives:
To maintain a place of worship for the practice of Hindu Religion
To conduct and/or sponsor religious, spiritual, charitable, educational, social and cultural activities for the benefit of the Hindu community.
To promote understanding and respect for Hindu philosophy.
To enhance pride in Hindu Religion for present and future generations.
