Tirumala, 12 March 2015: MANMADHA Nama 2015 Telugu Panchangam released by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam EO Dr D.Sambasiva Rao on Thursday evening in front of Srivari temple at Tirumala.
Dr D.Sambasiva Rao said, Panchangam is an historic Vedic Calendar which is designed with five primary elements of Tithi, Vaara, Nakshatra, Karana and Yoga. The Vedic Calendar helps to plan the life style in a systemic way by following the positions of sun, moon, and other planets and stars in the constellation as per the zodiac sign of a person. The TTD’s Panchangam has a respect among the masses since decades.
“This year also, with the blessings of Lord Venkateswara Swamy the “Manmadha Nama” Samvatsaram will bring all happiness and prosperity to the entire humanity.
Panchangam was published in two languages by the TTD. 75 thousand copies were printed in telugu and each copy costs 50 Rs, 3 thousand copies were printed in tamil and each copy costs 45 Rs.
The TTD’s Panchangam will be available from today in Tirumala, Tirupati and surrounding places, in other places TTD’s Panchangam will be available in a weeks time, the EO added.
The Panchangam is design every year by Sri Tangirala Prabhakara Purnaiah Siddhanthi the famous court astrologer of TTD.
But because of his sudden demise during last November, the Panchangam is designed by his brother, Sri Tangirala Venkata Krishna Purna Prasad who is also a famous astrologer.
