The tombstone inscription of the devotee Pravar Shri Mohandas Ji and sister Kanhi Dadi Ji was created by the son Udayaram ji on a Saturday in 1852.
The south entrance of the Shri Balaji temple, the south gate of Shri Balaji temple, is a site to offer the piety of Saint Shiromani worshipper Pravar Shri Mohan Das Maharaj. - Ramayana Recitation: The epic Ramayana, which narrates the story of Sri Rama, is often recited as an act of devotion and to seek blessings.

Samadhi Sthal
Hanuman Bhakt Shree Mohandas Maharaj appointed his nephew Udayaram Ji as the first temple priest by confiding his service to Shri Balaji Maharaj. Before he took the Samadhi Bhakt Shree Mohandas Maharaj offered a prayer to Shri Balaji and asked for blessings for Kanhi’s brother Udayaram Ji as well as his descendants to continue their worship and to achieve longevity while adhering to Grasath Jeevan. Then, on Saturday morning, Vaishakh Shukla Triyodashi (1850) Shiromani, a devotee of Mohandas Maharaj, was able to take Jeevit Samadhi.
Morning Aarti, Bhog and Worship are held in the Samadhi Sthal of Bhakt Mohandas ji Maharaj and the sister of Kanhi Dadi Ji. Similar to evening aarti, brother and sister Samadhi is worshipped. The aarti of Sri Balaji Maharaj then follows this.

Shree Salasar Balaji Temple History:
A long time ago, in the village of Asota, Nagaur, Rajasthan, something remarkable happened. While a Jat farmer was ploughing his field in 1755, his plough suddenly struck an object and got stuck. When the farmer investigated, he discovered a stone idol of Balaji or Hanuman buried in the ground. Coincidentally, the farmer’s wife had brought lunch for him in which she had prepared Bajra Churma.
The farmer offered this Churma to Shree Balaji Maharaj as a gesture of devotion. Since then, offering Bajra Churma to Shree Balaji Maharaj has become a tradition. What’s unique about Balaji is that he is the only one depicted with a beard and moustache.
This extraordinary discovery occurred on a Tuesday, specifically the ninth day of the Shravan month (July–August) during the first half of the month. The farmer shared this incredible incident with the villagers.
Interestingly, a landlord in the same area had a dream on that very day. In his dream, Lord Hanuman instructed him to install the idol in a temple in Salasar. Simultaneously, Mohandas, who lived in Salasar, also had a dream where Lord Hanuman directed him to bring the idol from Asota to Salasar to establish His presence there.
Shree Salasar Balaji Temple Architecture:
In the beginning, the temple was built by Mohandas Maharaj with the assistance of craftsmen Noora and Dau, using mud and stones. However, over time, the temple underwent significant transformations. It took two years to complete the temple in its current form. The temple has been constructed using materials like bricks, lime, cement, mortar, stone, and marble.
The entire structure of Salasar Balaji Temple in Rajasthan is adorned with white marble. Notably, the sanctum sanctorum, sabha mandap (prayer hall), and the pathways around them are embellished with intricate mosaic work and floral patterns made of gold and silver. Even the entrance, doors, and ceremonial utensils used in rituals are crafted from silver. The main entrance of the Salasar Balaji Temple in Rajasthan is exquisitely carved out of marble, adding to its grandeur and beauty.
