About Society Of Ohio Sri Saibaba Temple:
The installation ceremony of Sri Sai Baba and Parivaradevathas took place in Lewis Center, OH, in April 2012. The nine-day celebration began on Saturday, April 21 and ended on Sunday, April 29, 2012. Various cultural programs , abishekam, Adivasam, Homam . Spiritual conversations took place during this period. Moola Vigraha Pratishtapana and Kumbhabhishekam took place on April 25, 2012 at 11:45. Sri Maha Ganapati, Sri Abhaya Anjaneya Swami, Sri Raja Rajeshwari Devi and Sri Veera Venkata Satyanarayana In addition to Sri Sai Baba, the deities of Swami are now incorporated into the temple premises.
The temple has five Gopurams made in India, one for the main mandra (Sai Baba) and the rest for four other anthara alayams (Sri Ganesha, Sri Hanuma, Sri Vera Venkata Satyanarayana Swamy and Sri Raja Rajeswari Matha). Temple is located in a spacious 7.5 acre facility located in Lewis Center, OH. The granite used in the temple of the alayams anthara, the Baba podium, the path around Baba and the dhuni region were imported from India.
The temple is “The Dwarakamayi” of Columbus and is adapted to the needs of the devotees.The temple has a unique design consisting of two levels with a usable space of 16,484 square feet. Sri Shirdi Sai Baba will be in the middle of the Sanctum Room and will be surrounded by four devathas parivaar, dhuni, Chavadi, Dwarakamayi. On the lower level, there is a multipurpose room, classrooms, a full commercial kitchen, a priest’s room, a storage room and a closet.
