Tirumala Vaikunta Theertham:
Vaikunta Theertham is located northeast of the main Sri Venkateswara Temple in Tirumala. This holy Theertham is associated with the incarnation of Sri Maha Vishnu as Sri Rama. It is generally believed that the monkeys of Lord Rama’s Vanara Sena saw Vaikuntam here and, therefore, it became known as Vaikuntham. This Theertham is located about 3 km from Tirumala bus station and is linked to several important destinations.
A dip in the holy waters is considered to bring Vaikunta Prapthi afterlife and also erase all sins committed in this life. Getting to this place is complex, the pilgrim can plan a trip to this sacred site after the Lord’s Darshan.
In the olden days, many Sages used to meditate at this Theertham.
The best time to visit this place is during the rainy season, this place looks even more beautiful with vegetation and white water leaving the rocks.
