Biligiri Sri Ranganatha Swamy Temple is also known as Shwethadri is one of the famous Vaishnavite temples located in Yelandur, Chamarajanagara, Karnataka. Sage Vashishta installed the main deity Sri Ranganatha Swamy here. Puranas says that Sri Rama and Lakshmana have visited and worshiped Sri Ranganathaswamy here during their mission for the search of Sita Devi.
There is no strict dress code for Darshan Dress Code, any decent outfit is allowed. The temple entry is free for all devotees.
Note: Biligiriranganabetta is a forest area, hence Vehicles are prohibited to travel between 6.00 pm to 6.00 am.
