Don’ts
- Do not visit Friends and Relatives houses on the way back to your home after Rahu Ketu Pooja or any other pooja.

Note: Performing eight consecutive Tuesdays worship of Naga Devathas by offering a Clay lamp flamed with Gingelly oil and on the 9th Tuesday performs Naga Dosha pooja at any temple gives good result for those who suffer with Naga / Sarpa Dosha.
- Consult a good Astrologer who is experienced in Astrological Science.
- Ask the Astrologer which day would be auspicious to perform the pooja according to my Janma akshathra and for the Problem, for eg – Financial Problems, Marital status problems, No Baby problem, Jobless etc.
Good result can be obtained if Rahu Ketu Sarpa Dosha Nivarani pooja is performed twice in a year. It should be once during the Dakshinayanam (July 15th to Jan 15th, the night time for the Celestials) & once in Uttarayanam (Jan 15th to July 15th, the day time for the Celestials). Perform Rudhra Abhishekam after finishing the Rahu Kethu Sarpa Dosha Nivarani Pooja.
Those who are uncomfortable or unable to perform rituals such as homas and japas, they can do this Rahu Ketu pooja which does not consists any Homa to be held but simply a thirty to forty minutes Manthroccharana (reciting Manthras) with flowers for two Naga (snake) Hoods before the deities of Rahu and Kethu regularly.
Perform the Rahu Kethu Pooja on an auspicious Muhurtham or on your Janma Nakshathra or normal good Nakshathra (stars) / lunar day.
Donating regional Cows (no to money), Naga Abharana (normally decorated on the Shiva Linga) also give good result. These are not compulsory but according to your financial position you may or may not. If done, it’s good.

Due to this dosha you will face problems in your job / profession.
Also Hemalatha need to check Vaastu positions of your house. Because people having this dosha may be forced to live in a house with Vaasthu problems. Hence may get problems in many ways as you suffer. So consult a vaasthu consultant.
You need to do Kaala Sarpa dosham every year. If you think about doing this pooja this year then do the pooja on sashti thithi –
May – 30th comes in a Tuesday and is good or 25th october (Soora samharam) is a best thithi for this rahu kethu pooja. Take at least six months gap between one pooja and the other. This is must.

Remedies at home –

Rahu conjunction with Saturn placed in Lagna (1st house) and Kethu placement in 7th house are not good placement. It shows malefic on your marriage proceedings absolutely.
You need to do the rahu kethu dosha nivarana pooja regularly to pacify the malefic effect on your natal.
First do a simple Ganesha pooja and then proceed to the parihara sthala where you need to sit to do the pooja. This is must for completeness as we have a tradition of doing Ganesha pooja before starting any works or pooja.

Subramanya temple near secunderabad is one and half hours away from our home. As per your advice, I will make sure to at least visit it once a month on sundays.

Yes doing the parihara pooja on every sashti thithi once in every six months or every year is a tradition procedure said in the puranas to pacify the malefic planet.
Doing the worship and prayers is our duty and blessing is what the god has to do. So keep on doing the poojas seek for the blessing of the Lord.
Our Hindu says a pooja dedicated / performed to Lord Ganesha before any sort of deeds or poojas or events you may undergo will drive away the obstacles. Also it is said that before doing Rahu kethu pooja one must do the ganesha pooja for completeness. There is a purana for this and we cannot explain here now.
You can do the ganesha pooja in the small shrine inside the main temple – there is a priest available always, and it is very near to the Rs 1500 parihara sthala.

Take your parents also along with you on a sashti thithi day and do the parihara pooja.

Yes doing rahu kethu pooja is suggestible for you. Rahu is not placed well. Yes attending the pooja with all your family members is necessary. If they are very old, then you may come individually and do the pooja.
If it is for your marriage problem then do the pooja on a Tuesday rahu kaalam time. Or one good thithi i could suggest for you – May /30 / 17, Skandha Sashti (Tuesday) – an auspicious day to perform the rahu kethu pooja. If could not do on that day then you can perform on any Tuesday or any other Sashti thithi’s. Before reaching the parihara sthala (pooja place) do a simple Ganesha pooja and then proceed to the place.

Yes if Rahu is posited in 4th and Kethu is posited in 10th house it is Sankhpaal Kaala sarpa dosh. You can do the parihara pooja anywhere. Just the pooja vidhaan (procedure) differs.
Kalahasthi – Pooja is done by reciting some manthras only and no havens. This is one among the Pancha bhootha sthala. As per the myths it is believed that Lord Shiva holds the Nagagrahas and considered as Southern Kailash, hence doing pooja here attained predominance.
Trymbakeshwar – Havens and manthras recited like a homam. This temple is one among the Jyothirling Kshethras. So doing to the Jyothirlinga is also considered as auspicious and powerful.
Where you do the pooja you must do a simple Ganesha before going to sit to do the parihara pooja for completeness and fruitful.
Also do it on a sashti thithi. You can do the parihara pooja twice in a year or once in a year but at least six months gap should be there between one and the next.
If he is born in Ashlesha nakshethra then do the parihara pooja on that thithi.
If you are near to Kalahasthi then go and do the pooja in Kalahasthi itself.

Wait till next Sashti thithi and do it on that day with a simple Ganesha pooja done. It may gives a strong effect of your dosha. If you could not wait till that or do not have time you can do it as per plan. But do during rahu kalam tine.
Yes both of you should do the pooja individually. Both of you can sit at the same time to do the parihara pooja. Buy one each ticket for both of you and do the pooja. Samewise do ganesha pooja also individually.

There is no kaala sarpa dosha in your horoscope but since Kethu is placed in 1st house and Rahu is placed in 7th house you need to do Rahu kethu pooja on Ashlesha Nakshethra thithi. Do a simple Ganesha pooja before going to do the rahu kethu pooja at Mopi Devi Subrahmanya or Kalahasthi temples.

First worship Lord Ganesha (any sthothram), then Lord Subrahmanya (skhandha shashti kavacham) and then Hanuman (Hanuman chaleesha or any nama manthra of Lord Rama of bhajans).
Lord Ganesha is prayed for a good start and finish of any deeds without any troubles.
Lord Subrahmanya is to pacify your dosha and to bestow progeny and financial prosperity of your family. Regular visit of temple is also beneficial.
Lord Hanuman is prayed to bestow good health, knowledge and presence of mind. Also drives away the bad evil spirits in you.

For your husband – Rahu is posited in 8nd house and Kethu is in 2nd house. Effects are minor problems / clash of opinions in conjugal life and may have health issues – effects which are same.
Saturn is placed in 4th house which is moons house – gives a mixed result. Drinking alcohol and eating non veg should be avoided for ever for good result from Saturn planet. Do not do any auspicious works during night time – gives negative impact.
Donating milk and food to poor people gives good result.
Performing til abhishekam on every Saturday or when ever possible pacifies Saturn planet.

Doing without knowing your birth details is not a mistake. Just do it. No problem.

Stay at Kalahasthi for a night is not mandatory. But in order to attend the norning pooja you can stay in a hotel.
If you mention your living place we can plan for you about how and when to reach the temple to do the parihara pooja.
No need not discard your clothes after pooja.

Since you have Rahu kethu pooja if make you suffer a lot. Only thing is worship the lord and then seek for his blessings.
Worship of Goddess Durga by read the First Chapter Of Durga Saptasati.
Recite Gayathri manthra for total protection from the nine Navagrahas daily or every Saturday.
Chant the Rahu manthra for 108 times daily or every Saturday.
OR
First place two naaga (hoods) idols and one full naaga idol made of silver in a normal or silver plate. Perform one glass of Milk abhishekam and normal deepa aradhana, recite the rahu manthram for 108 times, 1on every Tuesday and Saturday rahu kalam time for 18 weels and go to the temple and perform the Rahu kethu pooja on a shashti thithi or any Tuesday rahu kalam time. You can offer blue flowers for the lord if possible.

On a fine Wednesday start this pooja. have bath and wear yellow clothes and then sit on a small wooden stool facing north with Lord Ganesha on your left in your pooja room.
Lit a ghee lamp in front of Lord Ganesha and start chanting

Or OM GHAM GHAM GANAPATHAYE NAMAH
For 108 times daily till you see a change.

The best days for Rahu Ketu Pooja at Sri Kalahasti Temple or any other Temple is —

First visit Thirumala then Thiruchanoor and then proced to visit Kalahasthi.
If you plan to perform kaala sarpa dosha pooja then you should visit Tirumala and Ammayar temple first and then visti Kalahasthi or after doing the parihara pooja in Kalahasthi do take a head bath and then go and visit Thirumala. That is suggestible.
