The management of Shri Jagannath Temple has implemented a Darshan system to ensure a well-organized and smooth experience for devotees. A dedicated queue line has been introduced for ticket holders, enabling them to have a special entry for darshan. The devotees are guided through the lion’s gate, which serves as the sole entry point, while three exit points are available for their convenience. This system helps in maintaining order and facilitating a structured flow of devotees during the darshan process.
The temple opens its doors and starts the Darshan at 5:30 AM. Following the Mangal Arathi, devotees are permitted to have darshan. However, between 8:00 AM and 9:15 AM, darshan is temporarily suspended. After 9:15 AM, devotees are once again allowed for darshan until 1:00 PM. There is another darshan slot available between 2:00 PM and 5:30 PM. The temple facilitates darshan once more from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM, offering devotees an opportunity to seek blessings during these specified times.
