Sri Trinetra Ganesh Temple History:

The construction of this temple was the result of a war. In 1299, a war broke out between King Hammir and Allaudin Khilji, who was the second king to reign under the Khilji lineage. The tombs of the fort were used to store food grains and other basic necessities. The prolonged war has exhausted all of these supplies. King Hammir, who was an ardent devotee of Sri Ganesh, continued to worship him even during these difficult times.

Lord Ganesh appeared and blessed the king in his dreams. The next morning, the idol of the Three-Eyed Deity was found inscribed on one of the walls and the tombs were miraculously filled with all the food grains. The following year, the king built a temple on the site in honor of the Lord.
