Tirumala Viraja River:
According to legend, Viraja, a sacred river of Vaikuntam flows under the feet of the Lord Venkateswara lotus. It is believed that the water well in the temple complex is part of this sacred river. This well is opposite Ugranam or storehouse. The idols are sculpted on the stones used for the internal walls of this well. Therefore, this well is called “toy well ” or “Bomomla Baavi”.
