14-3-2016, Tirupati: The Tumburu Teertha Mukkoti is going to start on 23rd March. Tumburu Teertha is one among the many Teertham’s (Waterfalls). Tumburu Teertha is the Seshachalam forests ranges in Tirumala. This waterfalls is 9 km from the main temple.
On monday the Joint Executive Officer Mr. K.S.Sreenivasa Raju had a meeting with Engineering, Forest, Vigilance, Annaprasadam and Health departments and other department officers regarding the event on 22nd and 23rd of march at Sri Padmavathi Rest House in Tirupati.
The Joint Executive Officer has ordered the Health and Annaprasadam departments to arrange 1 Lakh water packets and sixty thousand butter milk packets for the pilgrims. The TTD is expecting more than 10,000 to 15,000 Devotees for this event. He has also told the vigilance and forest departments not to allow prepare food inside the forest to prevent fire incidents, and he also told to arrange food and medical arrangements by the Annaprasadam department for the devotees. JEO said outsiders should not sell any food, water and other items in on the way to Teertham.
Temple Dyeo Mr.C Ramana, Annaprasadam Dyeo Mr.S Venugopal, VSO Mr.Ravindran Reddy, SE II Mr.Ramachandra Reddy and other officials were also present in the meeting.
