Devotees coming to Tirumala for darshan of Sri Venkateswara Swamy are not expected to carry any other signs of faith, deities, pictures of people, flags of political parties, etc. This rule has been implemented for several decades in TTD. But some devotees who do not know and disregard this regulation come to Tirumala with pictures of other religions, favorite politicians and celebrities, political flags, etc. in their vehicles.
Surveillance detectives when checking vehicles in Alipiri, explain the rule and remove stickers and flags as they are against TTD rules. The devotees are called upon to take cognizance of this important TTD regulation and to cooperate with the administration.
