Chakra Snanam has been performed to “Sri Sudarshana Chakrattalwar”-the holy wheel of Lord Balaji, on Friday during wee hours in Swamy Pushkarini for Vaikuntha Dwadasi.
Several hundreds of pilgrims has witnessed this religious ceremony of holy dip of the divine chakra which took place between 5.00 am and 6.00 am.
After offering special pujas, the chakra was given a celestial dip in the holy waters of the temple tank. Scores of pilgrims also took celestial dip during the same auspicious time.
Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam Executive Officer Dr. Sambasiva Rao, Tirumala junior executive officer Sri K.S. Sreenivasa Raju, Ex TTD Chairman Sri K. Bapiraju and other officials were also present at the temple.
