What is Kala Sarpa Dosha?
Kaala Sarpa Dosh is all about a faulty planetary position, with a snake-like formation, found in the person’s natal birth chart. In a dosha like this, the planetary positions are such that Rahu (head of the snake) and Ketu (tail of the snake) happen to fall on the beginning and end of the formation, respectively. There are many other ways by which Kaal Sarpa Yoga can be formed, the moon in the eight houses of the natal chart being one of the ways. However, there are no rules of thumb to Kaal Sarpa Dosha and it requires a good astrologer to study the planetary position accurately. The Pooja:
The Rahu Ketu Pooja lasts for 30-40 minutes, and it is always better to get the pooja performed during Rahu kalam. Perform this process for all the 14 days of Pitru Paksh. On the Sarva Pitru Amavasya, wear the Rudraksh around the neck using black thread. This will get rid of Pitru Dosh.This puja is done only in Pitru Paksh.
Perform Rudra Abhishek in the name of the KUL or ancestors at Sree Kalahasthi or at any ancient Shiva Temples.

I am Ajit Kumar from Bangalore. We are trying for a baby from 3 years and we had performed Sarpa Samskara, Aslesha bali and Nagapratishe at Kukke Subrahmanya temple in June 2014. Till today, we have not got any positive result.
Recently a priest at nearby temple suggested us to perform Rahu Ketu puja at Kalahasthi. Hence we have planned to perform puja on Sunday on 26-April-2015.
