Kalahasteeswara Temple Rahu Ketu Puja Procedure:
In Sri Kalahasti Temple, Rahu Ketu Pooja will performed during Rahu Kalam Timings. The devotee must plan accordingly to be available during Rahu Kalam’s time at the Temple.
The Sri Kalahasti Temple is still filled with Rahu Ketu Pooja, with worshipers from different parts of the country.
Sri Kalahasti Rahu Ketu Pooja is performed at different places in the temple compound/premises; the Pooja Location depends on the ticket price. Sri Kalahasti Rahu Ketu Pooja will occur outside the main Temple and inside the temple premises. Wherever you perform, the benefit of Rahu Ketu Pooja remains the same.
For Rahu Ketu Pooja at Srikalahasteeswara Temple in Sri Kalahasti, All the pooja materials are provided at the ticket counter after purchase.
The Rahu Ketu Pooja ticket includes Pooja material / Samagri, so no additional Pooja materials are required. If you want to take anything, buy some Bilva leaves, Vilva Leaf, and bel patra, available outside the Temple.
The Bilva tree is considered the form of Lord Shiva. It is believed that worshipping Lord Shiva without offering Bilva leaves is considered unfruitful.
Sri Kalahasti Rahu Ketu Pooja will be performed in batches at Mandapam and Halls, for which the entrance and exit gates will differ. The devotee should leave for Lord Shiva Darshan after completing Rahu Ketu Pooja.
For the ticket of Rs.500, everyone can sit in a hall, which will be full of people and have room to perform the Pooja. The priest of the Temple will guide you through the Pooja; he will speak in a microphone to be audible by all. He will inform each step in Telugu, Tamil and English so the devotees can easily follow him.
If you have missed a step, you can ask for help from the temple staff, who will be near you. The rest of the process is simple, and the Pooja time will be 20 to 25 minutes.
After finishing with Rahu Ketu Pooja at Mandapam, you have to take the silver idols with you and place them in The Hundi, which is inside you.
Procedure to be followed to Perform Rahu Ketu Pooja:
1) One day before the Rahu Ketu pooja, you have to sleep on the ground (not Mandatory)
2) after taking a bath the next morning, plan to reach the temple a little early to perform abhishekam with Milk (as required) to the Idols at Rudra Padam and then do 3 Pradakshinam to the Idols. Rudra Padam is 30 meters from Pathala Ganapathi temple. Sprinkle Milk on the idols. Puranas say this is where Rahu Ketu Kala Sarpa Dosh pooja is performed. After performing the Milk Abhishekam, please perform Rahu Ketu or Kala Sarpa Dosha Pooja.
3) After performing Rahu Ketu pooja, donate 2 to 3 meals to the needy people.
4) Now you are good to leave home. After arriving at the hotel, please take a bath. There is no need to take off or throw away your clothes.

Yes you can do rahu kethu pooja at Kalahasthi temple on 26th January Tuesday between 03.15 – 04.40 pm is rahu kaalam time. So you can do parihara pooja by that time. You need to reach the ticket counter by 02.00 pm to get the ticket.

Sri Kalahasthi Temple Devasthanam does not conduct Kuja Dosha Nivarana pooja. So you cannot do it in Sri Kalahasthi temple.
If you want to do the Parihara Pooja then you need to consult a poojari at Kalahasthi one day before on the day you prefer to to do it.

For Kaala sarpa dosha nivarana, Rahu kethu pooja is performed at Sri Kalahasthi from 06.00 am till 06.00 pm daily but Raahu kaal time is auspicious to do it. Tuesday raahu kaal time is best for those who getting obstacles to get marry.
As it may not be possible to perform the Rahu Kethu pooja during the rahu kaal time only, you can do it at any other time also on any day except yearly Brahmothsavams.

You can do Kaala sarpa doshan nivarana pooja on any day during raahu kaal time.
Saturdays Sundays Mondays and Tuesdays are good and very auspicious days are Shukla Paksha Panchami, Sashti, Amavasya and pournami thithi and Ashlesha nakshathra days also.
Reach the temple one or two hours before raahu kaal time and you can buy ticket in person near the ticket counter.
Ticket cost – Rs. 300, 750, 1500 and 2500 respectively. Pooja for all the tickets do not differs. Just the sitting place differs.
You will be provided the pooja samagri along the ticket. So no need to buy anything for the pooja from outside shops. Once you sit at the Parihara Sthala, you need to place two naaga idols given in the pooja samagri on a cloth given. For which you need to perform pooja. The poojari recites the manthra which you need go after him sprinkling the turmeric and kumkum to Rahu and Kethu. The pooja last for nearly 30 minutes. Thenafter you will be allowed for dharshan of Lord Shiva and Mother Gnanaprasunambika Devi.
Taking a head bath and no nonveg for the whole day and observing a fast till the completion of the pooja and dharshan is beneficial and not mandatory.

Is it mandatory the concerned person will be present at the time of performing the rahu ketu pooja at temple ?
otherwise the temple’s pandit will perform the pooja on our name.is it any chances will be there like rudra abhishekam etc.?

When the affected person performs the Puja on his own is said to be auspicious. But if unable to make the presence then they can do the puja thru their Parents. If not then we can get it done.

The temple will be open from 5.00 AM TO 9.00 PM. SriKalahasti temple is auspicious for rahu kethu pooja so you can perform at any time.
If you are particular about time perform the pooja in Rahu Kalam. Sunday Rahu Kalam time is 4:30 PM To 6.00 PM
whether have to take bath in temple after performing pooja

Is it mandatory to stay overnight in Kalahasti. As we are from bangalore and early morning travel is convenient for us without staying.

It is not mandatory.
It is about 9 to 10 hours to reach Kalahasth from Bengaluru. So starting there by night time reaching tirupati by morning 3 and 5 am, you can reach Kalahasthi by 5 or 6 am and very well you can do rahu kethu pooja and start by afternoon to reach Bengaluru by night.
If you want to do as i told put a comment about planned days and i let you know how to start and go back finishing pooja.

How to book rahu ketu pooja tickets

The online facility is not yet properly desighed. You can very will easily buy the ticket in person as lot of tickets available for the devotees.
Reach the temple at least one hour before the desired time of your choice or possibility to do rahu kethu pooja. A little earlier on hokidays would be better as crowd may throng in huge.
