The Fateh Maidan clock tower serves as aesthetic and historical monument. In the year 1903 Nawab zafar yar Jung Bahadur, the minister of defense in the Nizam’s government has laid the foundation of the clock tower. He is the youngest son of Sir Khursheed Jah Bahadur. It was situated to the crossing of Bashir Bagh flyover end and it was inaugurated by the sixth Nizam on his silver jubilee. There has a Gothic pointed arches on all four sides of the base.
