Meaning: Salutations to the great form of the Divine Mother Śrī Pratyaṅgirā, Who has five terrifying faces and One who never ceases to protect incessantly at every moment, with an appearance resembling a lion with a wide mouth and very sharp diamond teeth and a protruding tongue sparkling like the sun, with illuminated and fierce eyes emitting fire and a dark blue complexion bearing twenty arms holding deadly weapons. She who represents the Super Consciousness personified and One who cuts off all black magic, dissolves karma and wards off all evil, praise be to Her, whose form should be remembered and praised at all times, to attain peace and prosperity lifelong.

Her five faces are that of Lord Varāha to dig deep into our karmas and uproot them. Second is Lord Garuḍa, the great eagle who is the vehicle / vāhana of Lord Viṣṇu. He represents sighting and identifying the smallest of targets that could potentially become poisonous to our welfare. The third central face is of Goddess Kāli, who is the time and fate changer and is also the annihilator. The fourth face is of the lion faced Lord Nṛsiṃha, who tears through the fabric of māyā or virtual reality, obliterates ego and restores faith and order. The fifth is of Lord Hayagrīva, an avatar of Lord Viṣṇu, who bestows the highest supreme knowledge of the superconsciousness and singular reality.
